General Responsibilities
1. Design exclusive, original collections
2. Manage the design process from start to finish
3. Create jewelry designs using cad software
4. Communicate directly with clients
5. Meet with clients to create custom jewelry
6. Assess current inventory and determine production needs
7. Manage production and ensure quality control with manufacturers and suppliers
8. Price pieces
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree of design majors
• Excellent sketching and illustration skills
• Good technical knowledge of jewelry sales and merchandising
• Knowledge of metals and precious stones
• Knowledge of the current market and jewelry trends
